What we do.
Project CUM (Corsham Underground Mapping) is a research project into the fascinating history behind the underground Bath stone quarries in the Corsham area, many of which were converted for military usage during World War II, this project aims to map out where the quarries are, what is inside of them, find out the history behind them and a whole lot more, this website is for anyone who is interested in learning more about the Corsham quarries.
Ongoing research.
This is a long term project and as such some of the quarries don't yet have any information, this project involves a lot of research, reading and running around Corsham looking for things relating to the quarries, therefore research can be quite time consuming, but as further research is completed more information will be added over time, so be sure to check back in the future for further information.
